Short version: I collect what I need to reply to you, I keep it in Australia-region storage, and I'll delete it if you ask.

Who I am
This site is run by Nick Murray, a sole trader based on the Gold Coast, Queensland. Contact me at hello@nickmurray.com.au.
What I collect
- The enquiry form: your name, email, organisation, what kind of organisation it is, what you're after, and your message.
- Spam protection: a one-way scrambled version (a salted hash) of your IP address, so I can limit how many messages come from one place. It can't be turned back into your IP, and it's wiped after about a day.
- Products: if you buy something, Stripe handles your card details. I never see them. I get your name, email and what you bought.
No tracking cookies, no ad pixels, and the fonts are served from this site, so no third party sees your visit.
Where it's kept
Enquiries are stored in a Cloudflare database in the Oceania region and emailed to my inbox so I can reply. Cloudflare hosts the site and may process request data (like your IP address) to keep it running and secure.
How I use it
Only to reply to you, deliver what you bought, and keep the business records the law requires. I don't sell or share your details, and I won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be on one.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don't turn into work are deleted within 12 months. If we work together, I keep records for as long as tax law requires (usually five years).
Seeing, fixing or deleting your information
Email hello@nickmurray.com.au and I'll show you what I hold, correct it or delete it. If you're not happy with how I've handled it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
